The entire workflow happens in your browser: choose an image, let the AI find the subject, refine the edge, then export at full size. Here is what happens at each step.

The model predicts a soft alpha mask around the subject and applies it instantly — no brush strokes, no green screens, no manual tracing. The cutout appears on a checkerboard so you can see exactly which pixels are transparent, and your original resolution is kept from the first pass.
Feather the edge for a softer, more believable composite. Expand or contract the mask by a few pixels to recover a jersey, a shoulder or a product rim. Add a drop shadow to seat the subject in a new scene. Every control updates live, so you can judge the result before you export.

A note on honesty: the AI model files download once from a public model host the first time you process an image. That request fetches the model, not your photo. Once cached, you can even go offline and keep removing backgrounds.
The image is read by your browser and stays in the tab. There is no upload endpoint, no storage bucket and no queue, because nothing leaves your machine to begin with.
You never sign in to remove a background, so no profile ties images to an identity. We do not fingerprint your photos, harvest EXIF metadata for marketing or resell usage data.
